Metals are allocated, insured and stored with reputed independent third-party vaulting companies, and the customer remains the outright owner of the asset until the time of sale via eBullion. Settlement follows an equity market–like mechanism: metals are deposited into secure vaults in advance, and customer funds are held in independent third-party escrow accounts and collected only after the vaulting partner confirms custody of the metal. Every investment is therefore backed 100% by physical metal at all times. Stored metals are held in high-security vaults, fully insured by global insurers with deep expertise in precious metals, and subject to regular independent third-party audits. An independent audit confirms that all customer metal holdings are fully backed by physical metal held with approved vaulting partners; the trustee certificate is published at https://www.ebullion.in/trustee-certification eBullion works exclusively with trusted partners across vaulting, insurance and logistics, operating with a stated focus on regulatory compliance, transparency and investor protection. ## Pricing and Liquidity Pricing is two-way, transparent and real-time, derived from global spot markets and linked to wholesale benchmarks. Live prices are quoted in INR per gram, updated every 30 seconds, and shown at https://www.ebullion.in/price-charts with 1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 9M and 1Y chart views for all four metals. An additional 3% GST applies on purchase. Prices are locked at the moment a customer chooses to redeem bullion against currency, and funds are credited to the customer's linked bank account once the bullion is sold. The platform is accessible 24x7 by smartphone or laptop, allowing customers to react to changes in global bullion markets in a timely manner. ## Investment Plans and SIP eBullion offers systematic investment across all four metals, with a choice of daily, weekly or monthly frequency. It is an alternative to paper currency, a hedge against inflation, and one of the most common ways to diversify a portfolio. **Silver** — Described as the common man's gold and a space-age metal. Silver was among the original coinage metals as far back as 600 BCE, until the silver standard ended in 1935, and still retains utility as a more affordable store of value during volatility compared with gold. Silver demand was projected at 1.20 billion ounces in 2025, with a sizeable deficit expected in that year. **Platinum** — One of the rarest of the precious metals, used as a pollution-controlling auto catalyst and as one of the faster-growing jewellery options among younger buyers. According to the WPIC, global platinum demand from PEM electrolysers and hydrogen fuel cells and fuel-cell EVs is projected to reach 900 Koz by 2030. **Palladium** — A viable alternative to platinum. A rare metal in strong demand across automotive, chemical and electrical industries. ## Common Questions **What is eBullion?** eBullion is a digital precious metals platform that lets Indian investors buy, sell and hold gold, silver, platinum and palladium from ₹100, with the metal held in insured third-party vaults. **Is eBullion metal backed by physical bullion?** Yes.
